Continuing Education Information

 

Workshop 1: "Locating, Understanding, and Presenting Youth Suicide Data"

Social Workers: This program was approved by the National Association of Social Workers (provider #886393521) for 15 contact hours. (Note: Please check with your state licensing board to find out if contact hours will be accepted for online learning).

Health Educators: The National Center for Suicide Prevention Training is designated a provider of Category I continuing education contact hours (CECH) in health education by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc. This program is a designated event for the CHES to receive up to 18.0 Category I CECH in health education.

Workshop 2: "Planning and Evaluation for Youth Suicide Prevention." You may receive continuing education credits for Workshop 2 from NASW or NCHEC:

Health Educators: The National Center for Suicide Prevention Training is designated a provider of Category I continuing education contact hours (CECH) in health education by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc. This program is a designated event for the CHES to receive up to 15.0 Category I CECH in health education.

Social Workers: This program was approved by the National Association of Social Workers (provider #886393521) for 15 contact hours. (Note: Please check with your state licensing board to find out if contact hours will be accepted for online learning).

Workshop 3: "Youth Suicide Prevention:An Introduction to Gatekeeping"

Social Workers: This program was approved by the National Association of Social Workers (provider #886393521) for 12 contact hours. (Note: Please check with your state licensing board to find out if contact hours will be accepted for online learning).

Health Educators: The National Center for Suicide Prevention Training is designated a provider of Category I continuing education contact hours (CECH) in health education by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Inc. This program is a designated event for the CHES to receive up to 12.0 Category I CECH in health education.
